California Bear Credit Union S Spring St, Los Angeles

I have been a member of this bank for more than 10 years and I can't say how badly they have failed me recently. They got hacked and many accounts had fraudulent charges. One of those accounts was mine and I had to nag them for a week to reverse those charges. This is unacceptable and should have been reversed the same day I filed the fraud papers with them. So that same day they told me I would be reissued an new ATM. It's been 21 days now, 15 working days since I filed those charges and I still have no ATM card. Cal Bear has lied to me over and over about the status of my ATM Card. Today they tell me it was mailed yesterday. If you're looking for a credit union, stay away from Cal Bear.

Every time I come here the staff greet me by name. I am happy that they strive to remember all of their regular customers. I never get charged for the services that I need when I am there. The staff are very friendly and professional. I would recommend this branch to anyone who is in need of banking services.

Customer service is horrible...I think I've had only one nice young lady that use to help me but lately I've been dealing with a rude and abrupt "gentleman"that everytime i speak with him i have to put him on check. I don't even want to call in anymore because of him. In the past I've also dealt with other customer service reps that seem inpatient and always in a hurry to get off the phone as if i'm bothering them when i call, not only with me but my husband has had the same issue. I don't want to have to speak with the higher up but if it's going to continue then i don't have a choice.

This bank sucks don't get it. You can't deposit a check if your not in LA, because that's where their only bank is at. It's literally been 2 days and I'm still waiting for approval on phone deposit. THEY CAME AND DIDN'T MENTION THIS. I'm out. Trying to get them to learn thier lesson. TOOK OUR MONEY.

I absolutely love that they know me when I go in to do a banking transaction, very personal service!

The worse experience I had with this credit union I had a account with Toyota i was satisfied with them but I got mail from this credit union every week to lower my interest rates after refinancing with this company I regret so much they steal money from you no management at all in the app you can’t do any thing if you want to pay extra money they charge you money transfer fee on top of that they charge you finance fee worse experience I don’t recommend for any one

I really hate this Credit Union but, it is the only credit Union my Employer is with. They are very slow to provide important information and the Customer Service is a waste of time..a bunch of ill informed people who are hard to get in touch with.

I come here every so often to make cash deposits. The black lady teller with the braids is ALWAYS rude, and she acts like she hates being there. She doesn't have have to act like a saint but can someone please tell her to leave her bad attitude at home.

I've heard great things about this place.. went in to inquire about details, and spoke to Mr. Valdez. Superb customer service, and very informative! I think this credit union is the place to go 👍
