I have had a few issues since opening my account with Bank of the West and I was ready to just pull out my funds and close my account all together. The only reason I decided to stay was because of the employees at the Lincoln City branch. Thiago is courteous and professional. He has helped me numerous times and always followed up with me. I am confident that this group actually cares about the customers and goes out of their way to assist. I would highly recommend going into or calling this branch directly if you have any issues or concerns.

I have lived in Lincoln City/Otis for over 20 years. I only switched banks because I moved to the opposite end of town. I was with TLC. They were amazing, are amazing. I tried Bank of the West and have had nothing but unpleasant and "ruin your day" experiences. The people who work here.. ugh..could you be any less pleasing. I most definitely had the worst experience tonight. Poor management: they would rather just not talk or pretend to be busy, rather than solve an issue you have. (I was the only customer in the bank.) I will make sure to inform everyone I know of what a terrible company is being ran, by a bunch of terrible people. I immediately drove to TLC and re opened my bank account I was sooo upset. I told the wonderful people of TLC how sorry i was for leaving their business. No wonder why you've never busy, it all makes sense now.. everyone I've ever talked to despises this place.

I have banked at this bank since high school. I worked here half a day as a senior and than after graduation until I had my first child. I was in line for 20 minutes last night at the drive up to make a two minute deposit. Someone behind me gave up and went and parked. When I got to the window, the lady said, sorry for the wait with a big smile. I said...you know I used to work here and back then the drive-up was an express lane. Merchants with money bags were asked to come inside in respect for others. You could not apply for a loan at the drive up. The lady said...oh you should have come in. Me: after waiting 10 minutes? She: Yes. I felt sure you knew I was there and could have cut your lively chat short in respect. But no...another 10 minutes. I'm ready to change banks after 43 years. Have you ever stood in line for way too long in a grocery store and a new checker opens his till and a heaping basket blows by and beats you in line when you have 3 items? Or his wife stands in line and holds a place and right about the time you get to put your items down ...husband zooms in with heaping basket right in front of you. It happened the other day and I see these two things similar to each other. Both issues are a management issue.....Checker should pick the one who has waited the longest. And bank customers with long transactions should park and go inside. When is this kind of rudeness ok?

Best group of bankers ever. Love these guys. Banking constraints and rules not so much. A+ staff, mediocre parent company...
