Jordan Hooks2Employees at Affinity Plus are friendly, empathetic and have great customer service 98% of the time. I’ve had maybe 2 interactions where employees weren’t nice. The reason for the lower rating is I paid off an old account last year (credit card that was closed with a balance from my young and dumb days). I simply asked for proof it was paid in full and kept being told someone would contact me, but no one ever did and the ones who told me I’d hear from someone would stop responding. Then suddenly my credit report was updated with negative information. That experience left a sour taste. I was never rude, disrespectful or demanding. I’m not sure what prompted this experience since I was told I could become a member again. But that was the last interaction I had and left a sour taste.
Response from the ownerHi Jordan, thank you for reaching out to us. We’re sorry to hear that you did not have a good interaction with Affinity Plus. You can request proof of payment in full by calling this number: 763-548-7900. Thank you. ^Ashley

Cassandra Raymond2I’ve been with affinity long enough to have my auto, mortgage, savings, checking, and credit all through this union, however this particular branch in Eagan has been less than accommodating and lacks to be able to do the basics of their job and upright rude. Maybe better luck and customer service at one of their other locations.
Response from the ownerCassandra, thank you so much for being an engaged member. I'm really sorry to hear that this has been your experience at our Eagan location. We've shared your feedback with branch leadership so that we can look into this and get better. Thank you and have a great weekend. ^ashley

Savannah Barrett5There are not enough words that I could say to express how thankful I am for Affinity! Especially this branch. I became a member because I had no where else to turn. They helped me find a solution to my problem efficiently with the added bonus of lowering my car’s interest rate! They are nothing short of a family and give that feel from the moment you walk in. Always, always so happy and nice. Switching to them was the best decision I could of ever made. Thank you for all you’ve done!
Response from the ownerHi Savannah! We're so glad you made the switch too! It means so much to us that you took the time to share your feedback. We're thankful for you and all our members too. ^Ashley

Paul Widdel1I sold a car recently and thought nothing of it when the dealership cut the check to the two names on the title (myself and my mother). We both signed the check and I remotely deposited it through the app only to have it rejected with some vague reason about the named individuals are not on the account (we both have separate accounts). After calling into the bank I was informed that the ONLY way to deposit a check is for us to both show up in person with drivers licenses. When I asked if we could show up at separate branches to authenticate or could she call in and authenticate over the phone to approve the deposit, I was informed that it would be "illegal" for them to accept the check for deposit by any other means (I have a lot of trouble believing that showing up at 2 different sites would be illegal). On top of this, Affinity Plus has decided to have the most inconvenient hours for those of us that are working full time making it very difficult to accomplish the simple act of a deposit. The last 4 times I have needed customer service over the past several years have either gone unresolved, I've had to solve it myself, the person helping is clueless or probably the worst is when I went in to get a new card issued and they literally handed me a new debit card in someone else's name and on their account. As it takes time and effort to change banks, I will be closing my account within 3 months and quicker if able. This is actually sad for me as when I started, Affinity's customer service was truly top notch. It's unfortunate they have lost it. Also, this feedback is across all of Affinity Plus so I will be reposting this review on the locations I have visited and have had issues with.
Response from the ownerPaul Widdel, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us, but would appreciate the chance to turn your experience around. We would like to have a better understanding about your experience. Please reach out to us at (800) 322-7228 at your earliest convenience or come into our Live C hat and we will do our best to resolve this with you. Please let the member advisor know you would like to talk with Jamie VanBurkleo regarding feedback you left on Google. Thank you!

River Moon5Great great first impressions with this bank, only time will tell. Just moved to the Twin Cities and needed to open a local account for my banking, I was offered a refreshment while I waited and then Jessie helped me and got my membership and accounts set up, cards were printed right there and a few checks too. Amazing customer service from Jessie

Jordan V1This credit union has totally screwed my credit up. Reporting wildly inaccurate information and refusing to fix it. After 3 weeks of trying to talk to someone about it I get a call from Sam in solutions. He refuses to give any answers or solutions, instead he goes on vacation without offering to have someone help while he is gone. I guess this is how they treat members after a decade of having accounts in good standing.

Leonard Leschyshyn1Made a deposit in the morning. tried calling twice when bank opened to speak with someone and after being on hold for a period of time both calls dropped. Yet I am told they would be honored to speak with me. ??? Only wanted to make sure deposit went to the right account because I did not have a pen to mark my member number.
Response from the ownerLeonard Leschyshyn, thank you for taking the time to leave us feedback about your experience calling us. We've shared this information with our director of phone services so that she can look into this phone issue. We really appreciate you bringing this forward. We'd really be like to help you with your account question. Please contact us at (800) 322-7228, Live Chat on our website, or send us a secure message in online banking. Thank you. ^Ashley

Stephanie Johnson5I recently switched over to this credit union and had a few questions on how to raise my credit and I couldn't have had a better or more helpful experience!!! I've dealt directly with three different employees and they have all been so nice and incredibly knowledgeable!!! I'm extremely pleased with the level of service I receive from the people who work here!!

Daniel Albing5We've been members at Affinity Plus for about 8 years now. Liked our branches in Duluth and Lakeville, but this Eagan branch is even a step above them. It just seems like everybody is willing to go our if their way to do whatever they can to help you. It's really how a bank/credit union should feel! Couldn't be happier.
