The “Loan Senior Advisor” Belinda handled my loan and opened up my first credit card for me too. It took all of 3 and almost 4 months to receive my registration for my car, my plates, and my tags. It took so long that I got letters in the mail from the State telling me that if I waited one more month, my drivers license would be suspended. This experience is not just my own. My partner cashed in his IRA… or… tried to, at least. He presented the correct documentation and his money was put on hold for over two weeks to “verify” it. At the time of this review, we still have not received that money in his account. In addition, any time I go inside for some help, the ladies at the front desk act like I’m wasting their time. They’ve never had manners and I am always dismissed by them. In my experience, this is the worst bank I’ve ever been a part of. I will only be using the Cottage Grove location from now on even though it is 15 minutes out of the way.”

They try to trick you with deferment options if your late on a payment And charge you over double your car note and the first payment DOES NOT GO TO YOUR CAR! My car note was $200 they offered me a deferment to try to charge me for $600. $400 “for interest” for a week. I can’t wait to be done with them. I obviously didn’t take it.”

They have horrible debit card fees, the loan department is slow as well as the assessors they use. They are afraid of deposits especially on the mobile app. Making it useless. They have since changed the policy on earning interest so unlikely new members will benefit. Unfortunately Vernon County doesn't have many good options for financial services or banking. If possible I'd go the extra mile and go to La cross, or Summit credit union in the Dane County or Sauk County. They have a great mobile bank and don't have ATM fees.”
