The staff is friendly enough to where i dont feel like they are working against me. I really like the app they have as well, since it allows me to make payments without having to go in person, unlike payday loans or other lenders. Another thing I like about security finance is that the payments are all inclusive, which contain the principal payment, interest, etc. So I dont have to worry about just making the minimum payment and getting stuck in an endless cycle like payday loans. Also, they report to the credit bureaus so it helps your credit when you're on time, not many lenders, if any at all, will do that. I can keep track of my payments and pay off amount via the app. They also do biweekly calls as well to inform you of the amount in which you may request on your current loan. So if you're halfway done paying it off, but need the money, you can request any amount you may need from the balance you've already paid on the loan, without having to go through the whole process again! Definitely one of the better lenders I've worked with and I would definitely use them again.”

I dealt with the Killeen office the few times I needed to call. While they were friendly and easy to deal with I disagree with how they report payments and handle sending the car title. I paid my payments every month yet my credit report was updated only every other month and listed inaccurate payment amounts. Say it was $200/month they instead showed $400 paid every other month. While I am happy they didn't falsely report late payments I would rather they submit the true and accurate payment made each and every month. Upon pay off they said it *could* take up to 60 days to receive a title. In all actuality they do not mail a title until 60 days after payment has cleared. This is not something I've ever experienced in any other company. Usually once a payment is cleared a title is mailed when it is received. I see no point in choosing to hold it for any additional time when a customer has never missed a payment and the full sum has been paid off and earlier than original loan was for at that.”

I paid my loan off 4 years ago and now I got a hit on my credit report saying that I owe them money. I contacted them and they said there was an interest amount added a month later and a late fee for not paying that. It has compiled into me owing them more than $2,000! I sent them the screen shot I took for my final payment and they don't care. Now it looks like I have to try to take them to court!”
