When my father was in the hospital, it was said he didn't have long and the company still would still be an updated copy of his as well. They have very poor communication and lie every time they say they mailed something out. The only thing they main out is the bill. Everything else is just lies. I even asked if it was a legitimate company once because they never send what I ask for even though they tell me it's coming. There are several other companies to go with for your life insurance needs, Assurant is not one of them. Please go elsewhere. Don't let the excellent customer service fool you. Because that's the only thing they have going for them. They lie with a smile and politeness.”
