If the company were forthcoming in the advertisements it sends out concerning secured v. unsecured loans it would boost their reputation and not only that, being completely transparent would benefit customers and branches, and hopefully employees as well, instead of individual employees at the branches taking the brunt of customer dissatisfaction over information that is at best misleading and at worst disingenuous, which is in no way the fault of the people working at branch offices. Perhaps the information concerning the potential for providing collateral is hidden somewhere in the advertisement’s fine print, but no one’s reading that stuff and overall the mail outs themselves just seem to have the effect of cheapening the company which in no way represents the actual one-on-one experience that customers can expect when they visit this location in person.”
