They used to pay great interest on our checking account, but now they pay nothing. Our cards are always locked for stupid stuff like a 100$ Home Depot purchase, but then I had 1700$ in Lyft charges and that didn’t alarm them. They have changed our online username without telling us. You can’t lock your card online. You can’t set up Apple Pay without calling them. I always try to support smaller businesses, but we will be closing our acct and going to a bigger bank with easier online services.”

I called to question that and asked what was the procedure to take it out. They then told me it’s $25 to take it out. So I will pay $50 in fees when my total interest this year has been $1.25. My total interest since I opened it is only $86. I’ve never been charged a fee on my Wells Fargo IRA and the interest is higher. IBEW, you don’t care about customers.”

I had told her that I didn't have gas to spend if it wasn't guaranteed (I know she couldn't 100% guarantee me a loan over the phone) I could get a loan. She said all I needed was 30 day bank statement, paystubs, debit card, and ID if I had all that there shouldn't be a problem. I made an appt with her next morning (2nd call) I get there and she then asks me if I have other loans out. I tell the truth and tell her about the delinquent loan I have unfortunately with dlc. She said "I can't do anything for you" which I understood. I then go into suggesting she could have told me that over the phone so I wouldn't have wasted the gas I didn't have. She THEN proceeds to say it's not on them to know if I have loans and as I try to give her this suggestion she proceeds to talk over me and cut me off as if she knew what words I was saying which she did not because I said "it was-" and she cut me off to say "no it was not misleading" and I said "no I wasn't going to say misleading I was going to say very upsetting". So if you are needing a loan know that mlc does not care to help you and will have you waste gas to tell you something in person they could have let you know over the phone. Very unprofessional!”

I tried to cash a western union check I received from a good friend of mine as partial payment for an item I sold him. She asked what it was for so I told her. She was looking at me strangely the whole time. She then got on the phone for a while and had me fill out a form and copied my ID, then she returned to tell me she wouldn’t be able to cash it for me. When I asked why she said the whole situation seemed suspicious, she said she’d never seen a western union check with the Rite Aid logo in it. Maybe it’s because I have an eye patch. But whatever it was she really didn’t want to help me.”
