Once we arrived from Washington DC to check on her, we tried to return the check. They were willing to take the check back but said she was responsible for the remaining amount. This is a predatory company. DON’T USE THE COMPANY.”

When we never received the funds by the next business day, we called, and they only answered with, "there's a problem with the funding" then the next business day, I was told that the problem had been fixed, and I was promised that my funds would be in my account by the end of the day. Then next day, and we still hadn't received our funds. Now I'm being told that they have misplaced a document and can't wire our money until they have the document. Not worth the stress, or frustration. This was a very stressful situation for us!”

This payment also changed my total payoff amount on my mortgage, and more than a week after my closing date was missed, there has been no response or update to my closing documents from Ekmar. When I called I was told there was no one who could help me in the office and to leave a message. This title company has single handedly held up the sale of my property, at this point, indefinitely. Never use them. Just don't.”
