Katie Newton was very thorough about gathering all the paperwork needed for the underwriting to ensure it was a smooth transaction and nothing was missing. Because of Bill’s team being knowledgeable and attentive to the entire process, we found a home we loved and we were able to close within 3 WEEKS! The best Christmas gift! Never would I have thought that the mortgage process would have been so easy. You always hear nightmare stories about the process but not with Bill. He was available and capable of answering all of my questions regardless of the time of day. Most of the time he called me to give me an update before I even had a chance to think about following up. Not only was Bill a pleasure to work with but everyone on the team, including Katie was great. She kept everything organized and EASY to handle. Back in January I was in need of a Construction loan FAST in order to scoop up a house that needed some work done. I was able to obtain a very complicated 203k Renovation loan from The Maier Team at United Mortgage. We purchased a bank foreclosure property on the Navesink River, and obtained additional financing for a 450,000 renovation on the property. The Maier Team is exceptionally well versed in these types of RENOVATION loans and seamlessly interfaced with my builder, the HUD Consultant and the entire team. They worked around a tidelands claim issue with the property, and referred us to a great attorney as well. I have been doing business with William Maier since 1995 and I have had one amazing experience after another . He is like the Mortgage Doctor!!!! We will be using them again!!!!!!!
