Rocky Mountain Pawn has been a consistent stop for me for my ammo needs and guns. Is also a pawn store and they do have items in there but I haven't been looking for anything in that department. Staff is very cordial and helpful and if they are unable to help you they will help you find a solution.

Glocks were sold out but these people are very knowledgeable and helpful, and will work with you. Highly recommended or anything you need gun wise in Durango, and if they don't have it they will tell you how/where to get it! A+++ service, products, prices, people. Oh and good location, too.

In my own experience shopping at Rocky Mountain Pawn and Gun. I have never pawn anything there. So I can not give a honest review on that subject. however, I like to buy and sell firearm's with them. The prices are not bad if you do your own research. if you get to know the people behind the counter, they are pretty cool and nice, the owner and the staff. they have treated me with respect and they will do good to you too.

My name is Grace Dominey and my Father owns this place, he has had this place up and running strong for 27+ years. I work there part time and i Love it, you never know who will come in. For the future of this shop, i hope it lasts for years.

I don't really understand what happened, when we went in initially my son and I to ask about selling ammunition and reloading equipment among other things for my aging parents, they seemed really nice and helpful. However when my parents went back to make the final deal he offered 40 bucks for everything and told my mother that the reloading equipment in the Remington box weren't worth anything so when she said she would take those back he said oh no the $40 was for everything and wouldn't let her take the items that he said weren't worth anything. So so she ended up leaving the ammunition with them for free and taking home the other things. I really feel like they took advantage of an older woman and my father who has dementia. I am incredibly disappointed.

I have done business with Bruce for 15+ years. Today he tried to short change my on a gold medallion not once but twice, If you sell gold or silver here bring your calculator, they claim to pay 90% of spot but they quote you much less. Went to sell 18.4 grams of 14K gold. It has a scrap value of $524.49 - 10%= $472.04 He says he'll give me $275. I then asked what carat did it test at. Says 14. I told him his math was off and proved it by using a scrap gold calculator app. Then he tells me it only tested at 10k and he will give me $210. I asked for my medallion back. When he gave it back to me there was a sliver of gold missing from the rim. Not only was he dishonest with me he damaged my property. If you sell this man any scrap gold, silver, platinum etc. go online and calculate the value. Don't trust them to do it they will screw you.

Purchased two used guns and the shotgun had an issue. RMP&G went above and beyond to resolve the issue with the problematic shotgun and ultimately gave me full credit towards a different shotgun that shoots great. Great, honest gun shop!

The folks at this pawn shop are knowledgable and fair. The neggative reviews come from people who think their junk is worth way more than it is. It's not Bruce's fault. He'll give you a price and if that's not what you like, don't participate.

The store is nice but the prices and customer service is horrible. Went there looking for a 300 Wmag and was shown a Remington 700 Police, still factory but used with a small a Leupold scope mounted to it, and a horrible 13" to 16" bipod. They wanted $2350.99 for a rifle that costs $899.00 anywhere and brand new. When asked why so high I was told that they don't make up their prices they figure them out by market value. When I showed him the brand new price on my phone he had nothing more to say. Not to mention how rude he was. Complete waste of time.

The store and inventory was nice but the employees were not. My son spent almost $2000.00 in their store and the entire time the two guys working treated him like he was wasting their time. I will not return to this store to buy anything, I will find a place that appreciates customers and doesn't treat them like crap. I really wanted to say something at the time but my son really wanted the item he was purchasing and I didn't want to mess it up for him.
