I’m warning everyone to stay away from this loan company. They will give you a loan but take everything in interest before applying any of your payment to your loan. It may take years to start paying towards your original loan amount. They will take the first 3 to 4 years towards interest. My interest on a 15,000 loan was 9,000. These are loan sharks and have Attorneys that love to take advantage of people that are young or have bad credit. Be careful everyone!!

They just took all my money out of my back account. They have hundreds if not $1000 of judgment against people. I don’t understand why the Alaska courts keep giving them these judgments. They left my wife and I nothing. Literally $0 in our bank accounts. They never contact us or answer our calls. We tried to work with them but they don’t offer any help or understanding when it comes to financial problems. I’ve payed $12,000 on a $7,000 loan and still owe $16,000 from interest. Everyone that works there has no regard for struggling families and are the rudest people I’ve ever met. They are the biggest loan sharks and scam. Don’t use them my wife and I are about to file for bankruptcy because of this. I don’t have any idea of how to get in front of this. I’ve tried everything.

This company should be out of business for practicing Illegal consumer fraud. They trick you into signing a high interest rate then when you miss a payment take the car . Then get a default judgement and levy your bank account. Go to Alaska court system and look up affordable loan company they have hundreds of cases with default judgements. They should have been investigated and shut down years ago!. Please go to Alaska Attorney general website and email them regarding your experience with this scam company. If people report the fraud this company will be investigated and put out of business. Buyer beware , go somewhere else.

Take months to pay their dealers they do loans for. Yes I said months!!! They bounced a check to at least one dealership for three car loans , even after they had collected on them for months prior. Very unprofessional with their customers as well. Don’t report to credit agencies like they claim. This place would be shut down and criminally prosecuted in any other state with real lending laws. State of Alaska needs to step up and put them out of business. I gave all documentation that they need -‘a willing to help.

Hey, just as a heads up. This company will destroy your life if something happens and God forbid you end up oweing them. They let me sign a loan with a 24% interest rate at age 21. I was financially immature and had NO IDEA that 24% interest was very bad. I ended up having aá family emergency to tend to in another state and asked if I could please skip a payment and then make it up double on next due date. They said, sure go take care of your family. I came back, walked into pay both months. At that time the one was 31 days late and the next month was exactly on time. They took my payment and then forced me to voluntarily surrender the car right then and there. I was so young, I had no idea what I was doing so I gave them the car. A lady told me not to worry too much because they would auction it and I wouldn't owe much after but they would let me know what was left on loan. She even joked that maybe she would buy it from the auction because she liked the car. This was in 2007 I ended up moving out of state and never heared anything from them again until 03/17/21.. when they had a collection agency try to withdraw 31,000 from bank. I was never served a judgement, at least I never knew there was a judgment. They got away with 1700.00 that was my rent, food and electric for March... I was almost evicted and still have no food in my cupboards, and I have a 9 year child in my care.. I owed 7,000 on the car. So beware, future buyers, they will let anyone sign those dotted lines. But with that high of an interest rate, you'll end up paying so much more than what the original amount of loan was for, even if you pay it all on time. Still blows my mind, after 14 years they came at me with a 31,000 balance on a car that was valued at 7,000 in 2007... I don't know how they sleep at night. Thank you affordable loan for financially ruining me. Had anyone contacted me I would have more than happy to pay off the balance.

Heard terrible things about these monsters. They trick people into signing high APR loans that are impossible to pay down the principal on, and then levy peoples accounts through court once they can't pay. They prey on the impoverished, uneducated, and gullible who are desperate. These wastes of oxygen should be ashamed and don't even deserve a single star.

They get no stars from me they lucky I even have to select the one star! they levied 8k from my bank account after trying to get 17k out first. somehow they were able to get a default judgement without me knowing nor being served for 14k. They were given back their vehicle and said they were going to sell it and let me know if I owed anything that was in 2017. I am fighting back this is not right and they wont get away with my money, they are frauds period!

Don't waste your time and money on Affordable Loan Co -these people lack professionalism. I am not sure how they even have jobs. When you have bad customer service, its not good for business. You will fail because employees don't function well. Sorry to say. I spoke to Moe, her attitude, everything about her, and probably her lack of people skills is just bad. She's miserable. I'm sorry. I would not do business with these guys! You're better off getting served at McDonalds or I would suggest going elsewhere like a credit union bank. I look at the some other credit unions and they're professional, to the highest standards!

After finishing a visit to sign papers, I met the owner of the company. He made very harsh and rather prejudice comments that made me immediately regret having a loan through them. He said word for word, “there aren’t going to be any homeless natives sleeping in your vehicle are there?” Then later stated “The Donlin Gold project will be a great opportunity for that area, considering how it will get natives out and and sober up”. After he left, the financial woman that I was meeting with pretty much stated that he’s old, so its okay for him to make prejudice comments in the work place. After such a bad experience, I got a loan through a different company, not wanting to deal with them anymore.

If i could give zero stars i would. The staff is rude. My intrest rates were insain with no option to refinance or have gap insurance. They said that I didnt have insurance on my vehicle when i gave them proof of insurance. They said I sold my vehicle to my mechanic when i paid him to put a new motor in it because they wouldn't help me nor loan me the money for a $4000 motor. And i still was making payments on a vehicle that i was unable to drive.
