I spent a half hour searching the parking lot for the missing $10 - I explained the situation of what happened and deposited what was left. I was told as long as another deposit was made early the next morning that a overdraft charge would not be applied to my account if something posted I did as instructed and they still charged the overdraft. Trying to plead my case did no good. Was told to use the basket at my own risk if a teller isn’t there. I wasn’t arguing the loss of the $10 - I was owning that - but basically was lied to I would have been better off if they had told me that if a deposit wasn’t made by end of business - The fee would be imposed. I would have made arrangements to get the extra cash in that day. That’s what ya get for taking the word of these employees!! I’ve been a customer for 10 years! So much for local customer service - expect that from Wells Fargo”
