I was in the mortgage industry for 10 years as well as bought and sold a few houses...so I've had experience with several title companies. Never have I seen such an incompetent, unprofessional title company. Janice Washington claims she has been doing this for decades, however it doesn't show at all!! She doesn't have a clue how to do her job properly from what we've had to deal with. It's been almost three months since the sale of our home and the property is still in our name! She never requested a final reading on our water account, which includes a whole month of the new owners water usage and is still outstanding! Meanwhile, she is holding our money in escrow and won't answer any emails or return any calls. The owner of this pathetic title company (Troy Heitchew) obviously doesn't care how his business is run either since he has yet to respond to an email. If they don't get it together soon, we will be filing a complaint with the Maryland Insurance Administration.”

They will mess up your paperwork and blame their own employees for being pregnant, having Covid, and your lender for whatever reason they can surmise . Once complete, they will offer you a 300$ check like their money is a blessing. Go with a different company who actually respects their customers enough to explain their screw ups. Better yet, go with a company that will not drop the ball. Again just my opinion. Cheers!”
