This was a terrible mistake. The communication we normally expect from a closing agent did not happen. A problem discovered in the title search with the property lines was never brought to my attention until two days before closing. They had weeks to tell me about it, and it may have been able to be corrected before closing. But since they never told us, we closed with an exception. Izhar blamed Terrie and Terrie blamed Izhar. No matter who was responsible, we now have to pay an attorney to have the title problem corrected. A few days before closing, when I contacted American Title, Terrie was rude and treated me like an annoyance rather than a customer. They did not tell us about the necessity of a bank wire or certified check, so that had to be hastily arranged at the last minute. I have purchased 6 or 7 houses during my adult lifetime and this was the absolute worst closing agent I have ever used.”
