However, from a customer interaction standpoint, the level of engagement was not up to par. Hence, we had to ask the receptionist to take our closing picture. Wasn't told about needing to pay the closing cost by cashier's check or wire transfer until Friday after the credit union already stopped doing transfers which left me to have to pay for a hotel room for my kids and myself for the week end. I was not able to do the wire transfer until that Monday. Monday rolls around at 10am I complete the wire transfer and was told by Asi it would take about an hour to receive. The original contact person was Ashley and decided she didn't want to speak to me anymore regarding this process, she didn't say it but again I was being contacted by someone else at the title company instead of Ashley. I waited and waited and didn't hear back so around 1:45p and was told Asi was out of the office but Ashely was on her way back to the office and they could take a message. Again no return call and I decided to contact my realtor and was asked how everything went, my response was nothing happened. I explained to her the process of me completing the wire transfer and calling but not hearing anything back. She emailed Ashley who responded saying they received the funds from the lender and she was about to submit the wire transfer, my realtor emailed back and said she going to tell me I could pick up my keys, Ashley responded by saying PERFECT. Needless to say by then I was at work so had to pay for the hotel room another 2 nights because come to find out there were no utilities on at the house. My realtor ended up picking the keys up for me and meeting me at the hotel. 🙃”

The manager NEVER comes to the phone, return calls nor reply to emails. No wonder her staff is unprofessional…RUDE and being curt with you and letting your loan sit in office for WEEKS!!!! I asked twice for my loan to be withdrawn because it had been over 2 weeks of no resolution, so I applied with a different company and got approved with a much better interest rate and awesome term immediately. Loan funded on day number 2 of applying with this other company, and it was directly deposited into my account. The guy who answered the phone at One Main said he will notate that I decline any and all offers and I requested it to be withdrawn as well as tell David, Ebony AND Adrienne I believe is her name…the manager that I changed my mind and to withdraw it along with giving me a confirmation it has been withdrawn per my request by phone or email. NOTHING!! 1 week later after it was suppose to be withdrawn, I get an email that they still continued with the process and turned it down. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH ONE MAIN FINANCIAL, especially the location on 249/ Tomball near Buffalo Wild Wings and FM 1960.”

Then they told her no we couldn’t get it approved after all due to her being part time?? Really. It took Them 2 days to see she was part time when all that was disclosed the initial day. I know it was not credit n because she has good. Next time review application thoroughly and do not waste people time. If partirme was the issue state it right away.”

I call to get information about getting a loan just to really pay it right back off to get the payment history on my credit report not needing the money at all, they seen my bank statement which showed that as well and told me I would need my filed tax return which I uploaded that, then they told me it wasn't able to verified which didn't make any sense at all! They told me they would give me a couple of more days before my application become closed to allow me enough time to come in with my actual transcript. Once I did that still within the time frame they said my application was already closed with the hard inquiry already on my credit for nothing!!! Everyone that works there don't know what they talking about and will have you with a hard inquiry and still end up not working it out for you even if you have all that's required to get a loan. They put it in the system that I wasn't approved because I didn't want to deal with this particular location and I wasn't able to deal with any other location when I was actually approved! So to make a long story short, BORROWER BE AWARE and go to another company!!!!!!!!!!”
