For my first encounter with Ticor Title, I went to drop off some preliminary paperwork and was greeted by Caleen Chamberlain's assistant who I found to be rude with an attitude. I didn't give it much thought thinking maybe she was having a bad day. However, when I returned at the end of the month for final signing, I was again approached by the same escrow assistant who informed me that Caleen was out to lunch and introduced herself as her notary. Again, I found her rude with an attitude nor could she answer any questions that I had. After signing I asked if she could check if Caleen was back from lunch as I still had some unanswered questions. Caleen was in and met with me. Caleen did have a nice demeanor and was at least able to answer my questions. Although the Ticor Title did their job, I recommend their assistant should be counseled on the way she conducts herself with the public or be placed in a position where she does not work directly with the public. I went through 2 agents early on that tried to sell me insurance that was the best policy for their pocket, not what was right for our growing business. Jolley found out what we needed and every year they compare prices with other companies to find out if there are any better options available. Don't go with a cheap policy that has restrictions that may put your business in jeopardy. Vance and his entire staff are always there when I call or email and their response time is great. Well needless to say that Jerry isn’t doing the job. I have talked to about 5 people. One gentleman in particular said he would be the one that will be handling my loan. He also said he would be the only contact person that I would be in contact with going forwards. Welp that was a lie. All I have been hearing are lie after lie, excuse after excuse And “ we are busy “ and ‘not enough people working to do the job”. And we are short and Jerry will call you back but never do. I guess they pick and choose who they help and who they lie to. Because I haven’t received any help and haven’t heard nothing but deceitful lies.”
