I am sick of attorneys charging huge fees and balking if they have to do 10 minutes more work for what they charge. Kent, dude, do the job you charge your fees for so I don’t have to go through another attorney to ask you to do what I paid for. You didn’t send me an email that you said you did and I spent another few days sorting out what you were paid handsomely for.”

Just a lot of lip service! Against my better judgement, I decided to give him a try anyway. He and I had a couple of initial video chats and worked out a plan (backdoor Roth contribution strategy). However, once we filled out the paperwork to transfer/rollover my funds from my other bank and retirement accounts, it became increasingly more difficult to get in touch with him in order to execute on the plan. After several months with no movement and nothing getting done according to our initial plan, I came to the realization that he was indeed like a used car salesman who had no interest in actually servicing my accounts. Once I requested the accounts be closed so that I could go with another firm, I never received any acknowledgement, reply, call, email or any correspondence of any kind asking me why or offer to help with the transfer. Anyway, I am happy I decided to go with Edward Jones instead. Again, I would NOT recommend Edelman Financial Engines.”
