I asked the difference between title search vs title insurance. I got a brief description. I waas told there is no guarantee with a title search. When I asked why anyone would not buy the insurance, her response was it's not her job to give me legal advice. I was told it would be up to two weeks. After two weeks I called and was told by the receptionist she would leave a message I called. Week three same response. Fourth week I got to talk to someone, I was told the reason for the delay was so many tax parcels on property. My response was thats funny considering the entire property was in St. Francois county. Her response was ohhh its in St Francois co. Week five I got original response of receptionist would let them know I called. I cancelled the order, went to American Heritage Abstract in Desloge. I owned the property two weeks later. There's my experience with preferred land title. Take from it what you will.”

They talked me into switching from a two week loan cycle to a four week. After paying the loan off twice at four weeks, they switched me to a two week cycle without letting me know. In their own words, it was in the "fine print." Though this is legal it is highly unethical. Now when this happened, they refused to fix it saying that "corporate does what it wants." This was 100% their mistake, but they refused to make it right. The fees and charges were astronomical. This company and the company they bought out has made close to 3k in interest off me over the last few years. They've lost my future business due to their enethical model. There are several legit loan companies in the area, stay away from this one. You have been warned!”
