Was looking at potentially consolidating everything into one payment, so I filled out an application. At first I wasn't that interested, as the terms were a little high, so I didn't proceed beyond that. Then I got repeated phone calls and texts from "Beth" about setting up a time to talk. I texted back that I didn't know if I was interested and was told to call if I decided to do it, THEN got more texts pushing it. Should've been a red flag, but I caved to see what they'd say. I applied on 1/22. I spoke to one person on 1/26 who sent the information to my email to verify. I submitted it the next day. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. I was a little concerned so I called our local branch on 2/2. I spoke to another person (mind you, both gentlemen seemed polite enough) and was told they would process. I wasn't told if I provided enough information, I wasn't given any details, just a friendly "we'll work on that." Today, 2/12, I get an email saying they weren't able to do the loan. No big deal, but I don't understand why it took 3 weeks to get done. That's pretty questionable service-wise. I've worked for a lender before, my boss would've had my hide if I waited that long for a resolution. Maybe things have changed, I don't know. As I said, they were polite enough, hence 2 stars, but otherwise lacking. It wasn't urgent, I'm not stressing about the money, but the lack of contact and information is concerning. I'll be ordering my credit report just in case.”
