Filing went up $200. I was told that the IRS had been hacked, and this year South Georgia was targeted, funny because I can not find NO information on the IRS being breached and how South Georgia was being targeted. How is that everyone who filed with Globe Financial is now suddenly facing this hack? Can’t remember her name, but she explained that the IRS system is outdated and it should of never happened. My question is, is the IRS system outdated? Or is it THEIR system that is outdated? And then on top of that my taxes were filed incorrect. The tax prep person forgot to file one of our w2s. I was given no apologies, no phone call or anything, instead they tell my mother. Yes, you read that correct. Instead of contacting me directly, my mother informed on their mistake. The level of unprofessionalism I’ve experienced is astonishing. I understand with all the changes that happened over the year, it can be difficult to adjust, but this year many mistakes happened that should of never happened. Instead they spent the whole last year sweet talking everyone into taking out loans and telling them not to worry because their taxes will cover the loan. Without taking into consideration that with all the changes in the past year that income tax time will be a complete nightmare.”
