- 5.0(3)1555 Hillman St, Tulare, CA 93274, United States“I tell you what, really not sure how these guys have such high ratings. OneMain came up as recommended for me, so before applying I read their disclosures, and then proceeded to apply. I am self employed, so I checked that box, with no disclosures on what would be expected to prove income. I’ve only been an official business for 9 months, so don’t have a tax return reflecting my current income, but have purchased two vehicles in the last year (Ally/GM Financial) with both companies accepting bank statements to prove income, but OneMain won’t and does not disclose what’s required until after applying. The thing that was very concerning is I applied for $4500, they approved me for $12,500 pending received documentation, and gave me the option to share W2 or give access to see my bank account deposits, just to turn around and say it’s not acceptable. I was called my a lady at the Visalia branch who was rude, didn’t have a manager available, so transferred me to the Tulare branch, where I got equally rude treatment, and was told that I should of called before applying. This was a complete runaround, and waste of a credit ding, and it was painfully obvious that I wasn’t worth their time to even explain, without a W2.”
