I’ve dealt with this Company a time or Two. I’m not sure why they were called Loan Sharks but it’s far from the truth. They are very much upfront with you from Day 1, I’ve always paid on time, I call immediately if I see something come up beyond my control. This Company has always worked with me, Cindy and Alma are both very nice and non judgmental, I’ve had nothing but good experiences with both them and the Company.

I can't imagine the scenario that the angry reviewer described. I've been a customer of Loan Depot for about 3 years now, and yes, when you take out a loan, you're going to pay back fairly stout interest, but you're going to do that with any loan you get. With this place, you get to make MONTHLY payments, not have to pay it off in 2 weeks like the rest of them. Not to mention, the gang that works here don't make you feel like you're a lower class of person because you need a loan. They're helpful, friendly, and know your name when you walk in the door. In this day and age of "pressing 1 for a representative", it's NICE to walk in the door, and talk to someone who knows who you are!

All I have to say is that this company is not bad. I mean the fees are a little high but I received help from them in a time when I couldn't turn to anyone for help...(come on haven't we all been there) and the company is upfront about how much you will pay back. These people are not loan sharks as another reviewer stated. I've had family members take out loans with loanstar title and they were stuck in those loans forever with NOTHING going towards their principle!!!!!! I had horrible credit after my divorce and needed money for a surgery copay. Like most folks I was skeptical when I walked in but the employees at this location made the experience less painful.Bottom line is if you pay your bill and call if anything is wrong you will be okay and you'll have a new place to go when you need money and have nowhere to turn.

First, I have taken out several loans with this company and always paid them off early. Months ago I took out a loan for $300, which I would have to pay back over $900 for I just found out. Although at the time the people working there said it would be around $600, and they told me they lost my car title, and charged me 5 something to file for a new one, which they still to this day haven't done. Now I was 9 days late paying a payment and they repoed my car and want $475 repo fee, plus the late payment to get it back. They also couldn't even tell me how much to pay the next day after taking it, and STILL HAVE NO CAR TITLE. I then made a call to their "complaint dept" where someone was supposed to call me back but never did. Finally after bawling out the girl who worked there a manger finally called me, and told me how they need all kinds of papers from me to get my title again, oh, and he'll refund me back my 5 bucks for the title fee, lol. This company is borderline legal at best. THE LOAN SHARKS is more like it!!!! Never take out a loan with these people!!!!

This place has closed down and moved everything to Conroe. Good luck getting your keys and title back after paying off your loan. I've been waiting a month.
