When my credit score increased 21pts since application start Mia assured me that it most likely "went down" and should not be checked so that we could utilize the better score. First red flag!! Her "team" somehow had difficulty with verifying 2 jobs, completed verifications of employment and paystubs weren't enough. They defaulted on my home loan a couple days before the 2ND closing date. The explanation of why was "your employment is throwing us for a loop." Mia knew about my employment far in advance, you would think 2 jobs would be confusing 6 weeks prior to closing as opposed to days before the 2ND closing date. Mia Pankey was unaware of home loan qualification guidelines but she is a loan officer....strange. The team of loan processors and assistants at BanscorpSouth Panama City must not be too spiffy themselves since they can't verify employment documents or paystubs. I will certainly be sending my fellow registered nurse coworkers elsewhere for their home loan. I hope Mia and her team take the time to educate and train properly in their field and profession so that this does not happen to someone else.”
