Getting clear figures from Quicken Loans was pulling teeth in comparison. --- Wanted to add - I started my mortage search doing the obvious - looking to my bank (They're gonna take care of me right? I've got a big pile of money sitting in my account for this down payment after all?), then doing the Google search to compare rates... My realtor nudged me to do what felt like the old school thing of talking to a local broker. I've grown up around polished web 2.0 / app driven user experiences and was expecting to find some slick brokering app. That doesn't exist! The funding process when buying a house is inherently complex. At Carson BOA there were 13 people ahead of me and it took me 40 minutes in line to make a deposit into landlords account. The staff were very nice. I feel sorry for anyone who works for BOA. If you want a great bank w great customer service go to City National Bank in Minden. They are so responsive. I have never had to wait for service and they go out of their way to help their customers.”

She called several times and was on hold for extended periods of time and then finally when she called back she was hung up on more than once. I called for her and experienced the same thing. Extremely disappointing after banking with them for 20 years we have NEVER been treated this way. The customer service is non existent today. They don't if ask if you are willing to hold, they just say hold and put you on hold. Extremely rude and unprofessional. We are very disappointed and my mom is in another state unable to use her card.”

First, Our commission for agents is 5% but she made it 6% in closing statement. This only means two things:she did not even look at our contract or did it on purpose to take more money out of our pocket. Second, we prepaid $1000 HOA fee and should be refunded $800. But she only refunded $200 instead. Will she double check for you? Never. Third, when we choose to get a check, she gave us a regular check but not casher’s check. According to California law, all funds must be sent via wire transfer or casher’s check. Even a newbie won’t make so many mistakes but she did it anyway. Have we gotten any apology or even explanation from her so far? No, not a single word. I don’t know how she get this job but from our experience, if your agent told you” Lila will contact you via email or call you soon”, you’d better say” can we let someone else help us?”.”
