They did let us open the new account after I paid it back. Still seems wrong, since I know they had sold the debt to a collector for at least a portion of that money but I have to say they were very nice about the whole thing when I went into the Crescent City branch to fix it. Nice people in the business service department, helpful and friendly. So disappointed with #coastcentralcreditunion's terrible service! After banking with them for 30 years, they won't let us open a business checking account because we filed for bankruptcy 20 YEARS AGO. Didn't even have any money owed to them in the discharge. And now we have exceptional credit and good income, but I guess that doesn't matter... We have kept an account there, trying to do business locally if possible, but it's time to close accounts and leave bad reviews... Very disappointing.”

My issues are: - typed wrong account/routing number and sent $500K to the wrong account - Late sending wires by several days - Told me escrow was fully paid while $300K sat in their accounts - charged me additional fees, ($500+) without any notification or approval. The buyers were supposed to be paying 50% of the escrow fees, and now they are charging me 100%. I can't seem to get my escrow agent on the phone. He doesn't answer, and doesn't return phone calls. He also does not share his phone number on his email, so you have to track him down.”
