Terrible hospitality to call themselves "hometown" business. The only reason I clicked 1 star is so I could write this review. They obviously don't need any business to treat a human being the way they did. A person asking for a hand up instead of a handout should be treated with respect not like they are trash. Never would I recommend this business to anyone. God will have your rejection waiting. Closing soon!

The manager at this business will LIE to your face!! My son cuts grass to make extra money while in school. We first agreed on a price and the work to be performed to get the place presentable because it was over grown . which if you live in Troy, you can see how bad the management let it get. Which if a manager of a business doesn't care about the outside, they surely have no pride in how it runs on the inside. Anyway, he went above and beyond the time to make it manageable to keep it looking presentable. Lawn was cut (More like bush hogged), bushes (turning into trees) were trimmed back and hauled off, weed killer was sprayed in the asphalt cracks, etc... Then when we go in for payment, she cuts us a check for 2/3rds of what we agreed on. Saying I have an allowance and that is what it is. We spoke for a few minutes, and we agreed that he would be able to come back every 2 weeks at the allowance rate to compensate for the time that was spent and the materials used during the initial cutting. So here's the kicker, it has been 2 weeks, my son pulls up to cut the grass and she tells him NO. What?? He has done wasted time and gas to drive up there to be told no. Who is going to pay him for his time and gas?? We had an agreement. It hasn't grown enough for you to cut it. I guess she want to bale hay again before it gets cut. Is she pocketing the money instead of keeping the property presentable. Is she doing the same thing with with the people who are getting their cars repo'ed?? Don't know, just wondering?? Kinda sketchy if you ask me!! If you need a loan go to a bank!
