Do your research people! Far more better Pawn Shops with better customer service and employees who don’t seem miserable and entitled doing their job all around CT. This should be your last resort and my final time ever doing business with them.

Was able to buy $300 mc helmet for 50 bucks, full face with extra visor, it is a pawn shop that sell tools, jewelry, DVDs, games, tv's, stereo, anything a pawn shop can sell for profit.

I count on reviews to be accurate so wanted to leave one for Yankee Peddler & Pawn. I was really impressed with them, not because they gave me a little more money (It was only $10 more) for my silver than 2 other local pawn shops I'd been to, but because the shop looked like an actual store. Everything was clean, even the tools. The place was well lit, well organized and about 3 times the size of the other two shops I'd stopped into. The staff that I talked to came across customer friendly and everyone was wearing clean Yankee Peddler & Pawn apparel. They were all approachable. Although I didn't see what the prices were for their items for sale, the place felt nice enough that I would go back to actually take a look and shop there. The pictures you see online of their store are accurate. Things were laid out like new, rather than 2nd hand. Glad I found them.

Ok so I’m an Aussie guy that for whatever reason ends up living in a random part of New England that nobody outside or the states has ever heard of, that’s the facts but I’m here and it’s pretty cool place! So in my adventure in Yankee land I came across Yankee Peddler & Pawn, found something I wasnt expecting, really useful score for my kitchen project !!!....then the accent question again comes up, it’s actually one of the funniest things living here. Either way spent nearly an hour getting more than I bargained for with a good intellectual chat with the owner Joe! Really great business, always appreciate meeting and chatting with good friendly people in the area, really appreciate how many good people I’ve met around here in the last couple of years. Thanks Joe you actually made my day and appreciate the chat and hospitality and definitely will pop in again next time I’m in the area!

Have been a local of the area for over 8 years and these guys have always helped me out each time I came in with the warmest smile. Easily one of my favorite pawn shops in the area.

Great location and knowledgeable staff! I love stopping by this store as Joe and the staff are really helpful, kind, always friendly and eager to wait help you out. I visit often as the inventory is constantly changing and this is an awesome place to find that things you thought about, have been looking for or always wanted at prices that are too good to pass up. The store is always organized, neat, and clean which makes it very easy to find items one might need. I have bought an array of items from them including a well-kept vehicle. I always tell others about how great this place is. The inventory is awesome and the guys are great.

I've bought and sold many items with these guys and I've always had a good experience. When I was moving I had a few bulky electronic items that I didn't want to bring to my new home so I brought them down and got a fair price. I had a really good experience when I bought a camera from these guys, long story short after a few days I noticed it wasn't working right and they let me return it with no hassles. I've been to other pawn shops in the area and this place is the nicest and cleanest one.

This is a classy establishment unlike the other local non-competition. Hands down exceptional service. Staff is fair and friendly. Negotiable on merchandise. Everything for sale is usually top of the line. Price reflects quality. If you need a loan or to sell always fair. Also the best thing is..... after they get to know you, and you build a honest relationship - your like friends of the family. Thanks all you guys at Yankee. Speacial thanks to Joe and Alex.
