The ABSOLUTE ONLY (actually two, I thought of one more) reason why I’m not giving 5 Stars is, I want to be able to deposit my checks through the mobile app!! I firmly believe that any major bank or CU has this option but WinSouth!! I love the extra $7.00 per month and no ATM fees!!! If this small detail was added I, along with many others would be very happy!!! I live about two hours away from the closest branch (I hat changing banks/CU’s) so I have to mail my checks in or used a “Shared Branch” and…….well it gets to Gadsden a lot quicker with a stamp (I’ll leave it there.) The shared branch does help, so if WinSouth could PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE add mobile deposit to the app we would be very THANKFUL 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻! I’ve been told this was in process for at least two + years, and I think that’s more than enough time to add this feature!!! I’ve been with this CU since it was Etowah Steelworkers, so I’ve seen A LOT over the years in changes!!! I do have one more complaint, when a customer gets in a bind (this happens to the best of us) and their account falls negative for 31 days, this account holder can NEVER EVER IN THEIR LIFETIME have “overdraft protection!!” (Where it used to state: “Honor Pay.” Why not grant a little mercy and give someone a chance to redeem themselves??? Let’s say going two, three or four years in good standing each month should be good enough proof that they’ve fixed their issues…ANYONE IN THE WORLD WOULD THINK!! I believe a gradual increase in overdraft limits would be a GREAT REWARD!!! I know one can link Share account with Share Draft to help, but some of us don’t have any money available in savings, example: people retired living on one check per month or disabled one check a month!!! These little things could greatly improve the overall quality of banking at WinSouth credit union!!! Just a couple of suggestions from a long long long time member.Response from the owner

Going to this bank is such a nightmare. When we pulled up yesterday there were three workers outside of the building laughing it up and talking while there was a line forming inside. This branch is bigger, but save yourself the trouble and go to the one in Collinsville. You won't be at that one for over an hour for no reason other than incompetence. When I tried to close my account, the lady could not be bothered to help me and dismissed me.Response from the owner

I took a loan out for $1000 when I was a teenager. I thought I paid it off. 6 years later I have the cops knocking at my door to serve me papers. Turns out I still owed $80 to them. Ok no big deal I'll go ahead and pay for it that's my bad. Until they turn it into there lawyers and now I owe $1200 from late fees and court cost. I never received a call, email, text,or letter in the mail. Absolutely nothing. Thieving disgrace. (Update) I ain't emailing yall nothing! I've already paid it and it's been satisfied with the lawyers and the court. Unless yall gonna give me my money back. Dont say nothing.Response from the owner

Something could be done to improve drive thru time during these business hour changes. my wife and I were trapped from 9:20 to 10:10 am in the line, of which you cannot turn around and leave easily before we got our turn to bankResponse from the owner

This bank doesn’t deserve any stars honestly I went to the back last Friday to pull out 150 dollars out of my savings and the teller in the drive threw only gave me 50 like you guys need to learn to count and of course I didn’t realize it until I got home bc the teller wrote 150 on the envelope for me bc I also withdrew other money I am not happyResponse from the owner
