Thank you for alerting us to the problem you have been having regarding your closing with our company. I am sorry that you have been subjected to such a frustrating series of events however I would like to clarify some of your concerns and highlight how we are are taking appropriate action to address areas where we need improvement. We reviewed the documents you signed at closing and you indicated that the address we had on file for you was in fact correct and was to be used for all correspondence after closing. We mailed 3 separate checks to you refunding any overages collected from you at closing, this is standard procedure and I apologize that our accounting system cannot consolidate these checks together due to internal accounting procedures. In our highly regulated industry, it takes a tremendous amount of coordination between Mortgage Brokers,Title Insurance Companies and Realtors to result in a successful closing, it is apparent that we all can do a better job in this area and it should be seamless to you, the consumer. The check sent in error to your realtor was returned by them so we could get it to the appropriate party. We have taken steps internally to examine how this occurred and implemented steps to avoid this error in the future. Thankfully those of us who work in this industry, work together and we appreciate your Realtors cooperation in returning the check to us so promptly. The employee who assisted you is an experienced and licensed title insurance agent in the state of Florida and maintains and high level of integrity and customer service. It should be noted that Ms. Fontanez is supported by many other employees throughout the closing process and we have identified a specific support area that requires some additional training. In summary, without feedback we are not given the opportunity to improve.
