I agree, Samantha is impersonal and impolite, in the short interaction I had with her. Glad I dealt with Emily, who was much more pleasant. I'm 50/50 on Stewart title, based on Emily's great attitude and easy-to-deal-with experience versus Samantha's impatience and careless attitude.

Being a realtor, finding a team of lenders & title companies is crucial. Samantha Buchite & her team over at Stewart Title Company has always been my number 1 title company in Anchorage due to their communication, professionalism, & overall performance. They've always done a great job for my clients and I trust them with all of my personal real estate deals. They are truly the best!

Learn how to communicate with customers. We felt as Samantha was talking down to us. She did not help us find a solution to the problem we had. She slammed down a business card for the manager and stormed out like a 2 year old throwing a fit. Extremely unpleasant experience. Would never recommend. Go elsewhere.

Although I know all the title companies are swamped these days, the team at Stewart did an excellent job getting across the finish line. I know for sure people were working after hours to tie up loose ends on this transaction, and it all came together perfectly at the end. That's grace under pressure!

Moved from out of state. Closing was delayed due to a late title report. This can happen, but the issue was that I received no communication regarding this. My lender let me know and then I had to keep asking for updates without ever really getting any. After a delayed/late closing I then had to personally call them to advise and I had to PUSH to even schedule closing. They were content to let it drag on. Then even after closing, I was anticipating having two debts paid off. I had to call after a week of hearing nothing to be informed one check was waiting for me to the office to mail out and the other had been mailed. (Never advised I had to pick a check up) They attempted to say it "should have been told to you at closing" but it wasn't. So if you want an Escrow company that makes you do all the work, Stewart Title is for you.

Sam and the team at Stewart Title went above and beyond to help us with our property purchase in a superbly professional and expedient manner, even offering guidance in areas that weren’t part of their responsibility. Thank you so much, my wife and I highly recommend!!

Stewart Title Company's employees were very professional and polite. I was offered a refreshment on both occasions I visited for signings. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.

Sam dots her i’s and crosses her t’s. Professional, nice, and flexible to work with her clients around their schedule. She made my transition to AK a much better experience. She also saved me a lot of money catching an error that got me back over 3k when I was only going to get 200.
