Trade Winds 6: Very nice accommodations. Private baths, King beds w/high end mattresses. large inviting kitchen. Great pool level common area, bonus TV room. Lots of space to entertain.

We were very disappointed with our stay at “Cruz N Corolla” with Resort Realty. When we first got to the house, we realized it had been poorly cleaned, with some areas of the house looking like they hadn’t been touched in a long time. I understand that they have a lot of house to clean in a small amount of time but we’ve been staying in the Outerbanks for a long time and don’t usually have any trouble with the homes’ cleaning. Sheets had stains on them, carpets were stained, bathroom counters hadn’t been touched and things like the curtains in the living room were just filthy. Pool had not been properly cleaned and the pool area had ant hills everywhere and the place was crawling with ants. Second disappointment came when we found that a room shown in the pictures for the listing, wasn’t there. It showed a room with a big desk and and a couch that must have been from another house. Very disappointing because my husband brought his desktop computer so that he could work that week in that space. As the week went on we made a list of all of the maintenance issues with the home because we figured they might not know but after reading reviews on here, it seems to be a continual problem with this company. On Monday of our stay, our shower had quit draining completely. We called twice on Monday and never heard back from them. Called again on Tuesday and didn’t hear back from them so my husband went down to the office and spoke with them in person and they sent someone out that day to repair it. I tried emailing several times and would never get a response. I used the chat on their website and still got no response. I finally got a response when I message their Facebook page and I can say that after weeks of trying to get a hold of someone to mention our issues with the home, they did refund us $200. I would still caution everyone to stay away from this rental company because this weeks vacation was a major headache and getting a response from them was near impossible. We’ve used several other rental companies in the Outerbanks and never had trouble like this.

Terribly disappointed with our resort realty experience this year! We haven't had internet since we checked in 4 nights ago and no one seems to care. Quite inconvenient when two people on "vacation" are having to work while here. They don't even seem to be trying to fix the issue! Also, homeowner of "You and me by the sea" at the Quays will not let you control you're own temperature. I would understand putting a governor on it so people don't go crazy and freeze your unit but these owners have the temp locked at 72 wether you like it or not! It is sweltering at night on the 3rd floor and we've pleaded with management at resort to ask the owners to adjust the temp to 70 just while we are sleeping yet they (resort realty or the homeowner, not sure which) refuse. This will be our last year with Resort Realty.

Resort realty is wonderful to deal with when staying in OBX!! We have used them for many years and make the process of renting and staying very simple!! We have stayed in Reach the Beach for years and absolutely love it!!

Definitely Would Use Them Again First time family vacation. We had an amazing time. Property was in excellent condition. Only set backs were internet being down and cable not working for first couple days. But, we still had a great time. Forced us to actually deal with each other!

The team at Resort Realty is AWESOME! Super responsive and friendly. They always take care of our needs and watch over Carolina Surf like it was their own home! Five star service all the way. Thank you Lisa and Jeri--both of you are fantastic!

I would like to give a "Shout Out" to SHANNON at Resort Realty for her willingness to help us find just the right cottage for this coming summer. During this time of "COVID" when things were difficult, she was very understanding and showed a "huge" amount of patience as we came to a decision on the "right" cottage for our family! I will always deal with Resort Realty and I hope SHANNON stays there FOREVER! She is a KEEPER! Don't let her GO!

My neighbors and I rented this property for a getaway and had a great time. The house is amazing and clean! Resort realty was amazing and Marilyn was super to work with. Thanks for an awesome time!

I had an absolutely awesome, hassle free vacation! The SeaEsta was so clean and family friendly! Getting through the traffic and across the bridge was such a pain and caused us to be late for check-in. Resort Realty had the option to pick up the keys in the drop box after 6! no hassle there! The following Saturday when we were ready to leave, we left our keys in the box (as they were not open at 6 a.m.), no hassle there either! My family and I will for sure be booking again next year! Thanks for such a great vacation in the OBX!

Booked a vacation in Corolla. Pre-vacation, no issues. Worked with agent (Kay I believe) who helped this first time to OBX understand travel conditions into and on the OBX. Fantastic support. When we got to the property, we found things weren't 100% as described but no show stoppers. The main complaint had to do with the linen package we bought. We were short 3 sheet sets and 2 towel sets. Called the office and they said they would send them out. The next day, a linen truck showed up. A guy got out, then got back into the truck and left without doing anything. Needless to say we weren't happy. Called back again. The following day, a woman showed up with linen. Tip for vacationers...check to make sure you are getting what you paid for. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars.
