Carrie Draper was our closing officer for the purchase of a Dollar General. We were to close July 2. Carrie had overnighted our closing package on the 1st. Unfortunately, FedEx lost the package. We were faced with the loss of over $1,000.00 in rents if we couldn't close until after the holidays, not to mention the Bank having to redo the loan documents. Carrie in a flurry of phone calls and emails managed to get permission from everyone concerned to close with emailed documents to be followed by hard copies.
