    If I could give this bank (family security in hartselle Alabama) zero stars I would, I use to bank there years ago and they gave me so many issues with just cashing checks(and I had an account with them). Some of which were family security checks(which made no sense to me) they were always so rude and I dreaded going in. so I swapped over to Redstone after that and absolutely love it. There are other instances I have heard from many friends of family security employees being entirely rude and inconsiderate. If I could tell everyone that banks here personally it’s in your best interest to swap to Redstone. Even if it’s a bit longer drive it’s so worth it.

    I was very grateful for the help Blake gave me with my loan....however the tellers were NOT very friendly nor acted like they wanted to help me.......sad such a great Manager is in a branch office that's NOT customer friendly!!!!!

    I have been banking with FSCU for about 12 years. They have made two home loans for me over the years. HOWEVER, they have made dealing with my Mother's accounts most difficult and stressful, from giving me an unholy hard time on the day after she died to refusing to help me with checks that came for her later. They are not helpful. Try the Decatur branch if you need a real person.

    I went in to open up a savings account and there was a wait which is fine. What upset me is that when a customer service lady got free, she never acknowledged me, asked me if I needed any help, nothing! At this point I had already been there 30 min! The teller had told me there was 2 different sides but both of them had people sitting and waiting so I sat across from one of them. When the lady was finished with her customer, she walked right past me and then back to her office never asking if I needed help, so I moved to the seat beside her office thinking maybe I needed to move to her side and she still never asked me if I needed help. So then someone who had come in and went to the teller was walking out and stopped by her office, she then started helping him. At this point I was mad! I asked the teller how much longer it would be and she said it just depends on what their doing. She could of buzzed her and told her I had been waiting for a while. I then told her I wasn’t waiting any longer and I walked out. I was totally surprised at the poor customer service I got. I was going to open my account today but now I will give my business to someone else that goes out of their way to help. I never leave reviews but felt this one was appropriate.

    Is taking forever to get my new debit card change banks if necessary just checked my bank app it says I applied on the 12th and when I went there to ask about it when I applied on the 4th they thought I applied on the 2nd so very horrible service when it comes to getting a new card it's been almost 2 weeks

    They require you to have a $500 insurance deductible or lower. Wish I would have known before I financed with them.

    Every single time that I try to call and check my balance, it freezes my account. I have my correct account number and the correct pin number, yet it freezes my account.
