      If you plan to ever travel internationally you can absolutely count on your debit card not working. Every time I travel I call in advance and inform them of my international travel, use the card controls on the app and still get declined whenever I try to use it. If you are traveling on a weekend you will not be able to reach anyone and the fraud detection department cannot help you And will tell you that you need to call your bank which has no employees and no 24 hour customer service on the weekends. After spending some time on the phone with a man named Shaun explaining my situation he put me on hold for 15 minutes ($30 Worth of international charges) When I begin to explain my frustration he said “yup yup all right “and then put me back on hold again I will be switching my accounts to a different bank even though I’ve been with Evergreen since 2005. This is just ridiculous and I can’t deal with it anymore. It’s just not safe to travel without access to funds in my bank.

      I've had an account with them since I was a teenager and have had a great experience over the years! Even though I now live out of state, I still use them as my primary bank.

      A- 3/4/2021 Their app fails on check deposits most of the times, and I have to write "for mobile deposit only" alongside my signature when trying that too. so now, I don't bother to try it anymore B- 3/4/2021 I got a business loan with them and they made me open an account with them and obligated me to do the business transaction with them for the next three years. C- 3/4/2021 I can't wait to get out of this bank after the three years to have my business somewhere else. D- 3/4/2021 I had to call the customer service to get my account number because they don't provide it in the online banking neither on the statements. You gotta be kidding me D-update 4/1/2022 thanks for letting me know the acount number is available in the app now *E- 3/31/2022. and to be fair, the staff at the branch in Portland city is great and friendly.

There are times when the check image cannot be captured clearly for a number of reasons (shadows on the check, poor lightly, folds in the check, etc). Most new checks today have a checkbox on the endorsement side you can select "For Mobile Deposit Only". This is to ensure a check is not mistakenly deposited a second time. This is simply an additional safety measure when using the convenience of mobile deposit. Your account numbers are all available in the app when viewing your history.       As a longtime member of ECU, I have had an outstanding experience with this institution. Recently, in the midst of a nation wide automobile shortage, I found myself in need of a vehicle….quickly. Murphy’s Law. While shopping, I found that inventory was changing hands within hours. Amanda Southworth assisted me in this process, after reassuring me that we would get the job done. She proved incredibly nimble in this fluid market, offered great advice and remained very responsive. I was able to shop for a vehicle with confidence. An invaluable thing when dealing with the occasional less than reputable sales types in a sellers market. We did in fact get the job done the very next day. After two mortgages, and now two auto loans, I could not recommend ECU enough. My longtime relationship with Cathy any most recently Amanda, leaves me feeling they are both banking rockstars.

Very professional staff, very helpful, and always the same smiling faces to greet me when I walk in. My parents opened an account for me and I opened an account when my little girl was born last year. A great place to do business...

      We’ve had two loans that we’ve paid off through these guys, good payment history, we also got our checks deposited right into our accounts that we’ve had with them four years and they wouldn’t approve our loan that we requested for a new vehicle...... asking $10,000 for a vehicle with a $3000 down payment.... that’s nothing and like I said before we’ve paid off two different loans already, don’t know why they denied us but don’t go here. If they didn’t approve us they won’t approve you.

      If you’re foreign most likely you’ll be Rejected getting low interest loan, loan department not helpful at all. Portland branch manager don’t care about customer experience what so ever.

      I was starting to lose faith in all financial institutions until I walked through the doors at Evergreen credit union. The staff at Evergreen are super professional and super friendly. They really make you feel like you're part of a family. Whatever your financial needs may be... from making a deposit to taking out loans the staff will bend over backwards to make sure your needs are met. The Customer service is stellar.       DO NOT USE THIS BANK THEY SCAM! I signed a contract with them to make sure my account would not be over charged and they continue to over charge me and other who have signed the same paper looking to take further action against them STAY AWAY FROM THIS BANK!
