Chase Bank Lima Rd, Kendallville

I've banked here for several years and am always greeted by my first name. The tellers are very courteous and such a pleasure to interact with while doing transactions. This branch is a great representation of how a small town business should carry itself. Highly recommend.

The ATM which I use every week has been down for the last 3 weeks. I am sure that alot of customers who have direct deposit, and work late and who literally depend on this ATM working are being really disadvantaged that this machine has not yet been fixed. Because I pay my rent weekly in cash, I now have to pay to get my own money out. Not happy. This branch closes at 5pm and is not open for me to use. So I do all of my transactions on the ATM. Well, please fix it for us.

6/25/22 ATM still doesn’t work as of 7:45 AM. Three stars merely for existing.

I've been with this bank for 8yrs now,,,never a problem They're all very Polite.

The lobby was packed and there was only 1 woman helping all of us at the counter when there were customers standing clear back to the doors. All I could hear in line while patiently waiting to be helped was 2 ladies in a office of loud laughter and chit chatting. The office woman was NOT with a customer she was with another bank employee who was apparently to "busy" to help where help was needed. Ms. Loveless you did the best you could alone up there and I thank you. You keep up the great work. Fyi.....because of her is the ONLY reason you got the 1 star I had to give.

*Update* The same rude teller was working the window, she is short, stocky and wears glasses. She questioned the check I was trying to deposit. A government check. She asked if I was expecting it, told me that it might be a scam, made me feel very uneasy. (Yes I was expecting it, no it wasn't a scam) This woman has potential but she needs to work on her people skills big time. Normally I've had no issues here but this morning I had a huge problem I needed urgent help with and was laughed at by the teller, then told to wait for the manager, sat for almost 20 minutes before the manager came out, said she had an appointment and told me to call the 800 number or "drive to Fort Wayne". I'd have been fine had they told me that initially and I didnt waste my time waiting for nothing.

Wasnt to happy after today! I get theres a coin shortage but i live week to week an rely on quarters to do my laundry washing my husbands work clothes also!! I came up to drive up window like I do weekly asked for 2 rows of quarters then was told i can only get 1 roll. Well that Wont help when I gotta do laundry!! Told them this is my weekly an i need 2 rolls. Apparently their only allowing 1 roll per customer an i said but this is my weekly!! Then instead of just giving me 2 rolls they say oh u can just come back tomorrow!! Umm so why cant u just give me 2 if the said quarters are there??? Smfh

My wife and I have been in twice recently. A forgive me for saying, plus sized gal with glasses, wish I had her name.. Just a rude customer service rep. She not only talked down to us, she treated us like we were an inconvenience. Work on that.. ridiculous behavior for a Chase Bank rep.

Thank you for helping me with my investment. I've had a really fantastic experience with the Kendallville Chase Bank. Through this bank I have been able to make great resolutions with timeliness. Their online banking is truly a tool that I wouldn't dare live without. Thank you again.
