Banker helped over the phone to get me to talk to someone in customer service when it kept hanging up on me. So helpful!

Excellent staff! Everyone was very helpful from starting a new account to every banking experience I've had since! This bank offers many smart ways to help you save money and their fees are almost obsolete.

I have tried repeatedly to get a lien satisfaction letter from Toyota Financial Services on a car that I paid for 10 years ago. The first day I called Toyota Financial Services two different representatives told me that they still have the lease and would send them out to me immediately. I told them to use my personal FED Ex overnight mailing account, but they didn't. When I called them after waiting three days they said that even if I gave them my Fed X account number the lien satisfaction letter would still sit for 3 days while it was processing. Listen everyone, just go to your credit union and get your loan. The rates will be comparable and you can drive over and settle any misunderstandings immediately without 3 days of processing and waiting for mail..

The service provided was excellent. They accommodated our disabilities by coming to the car and notarizing documents. All staff was personable and professional. I would heartily recommend this service.

Umpqua bank is a corporate bank that follows the corporate model of putting the bottom line first, people are way down the list of priorities. When an Umpqua Bank customer writes me a check, Umpqua Bank tries to charge me $6 to cash it. This is plain and simple theft. Stand your ground and demand all the money that is owed to you. Be firm and you will get it. They prey on the weak and fearful at the rate of $6 per check. This corporation has no power over you. Do not be weak and fearful.

We've banked at the same branch for years, through three name changes (First Centerpointe Bank, then INB, and now First Interstate Bank) and with each change of name/ownership the quality of our banking experience had declined. Under the current regime, getting answers to a simple question takes multiple people/phone calls/visits to the branch. Even something as simple as trying to deposit cash in our bank account (kinda the purpose of a bank) has been a convoluted and difficult process. When we attempted to add a new name to our account, it took not one, but three in-person visits to the Bingen branch, each time meeting with a different employee, and going through a different processes, only to find out (earlier today) that they still have not authorized the person on our account. The cherry on top of our terrible experience with First Interstate happened today. Through all of the name changes, our routing and account numbers have been the same. Earlier this year First Interstate changed their routing number. So when the IRS attempted to deposit our COVID-19 Stimulus Check, using the account information they have on file from our last tax return, the direct deposit failed, automatically putting our payment the back of the line for mailed paper checks, delaying much needed financial help by months. After two different phone calls with First Interstate bank, I was essentially told by the bank staff (albeit in a polite enough manner) that this was basically my fault for not updating the account information with the IRS, which incidentally is something that the IRS is not allowing. Either the First Interstate staff are completely ignorant to the details of a major government stimulus plan that directly impacts their business and customers or they just feel the need to shift the blame to anyone/thing other than the general disorder that is their financial institution. This is a small community (hence the burner Gmail account I created for this review), and the banking options are limited. I feel for the customer service reps and tellers at their branches, I know they are just cogs in someone else's get-rich-machine, but the service we've received from First Interstate since they took over in the Gorge has been unacceptable. I will be making the long overdue switch to another bank, and I strongly recommend you do the same.

Branch manager, Lorrie, is a really rude person. Especially to her employee's. I went in and she looked at me and did not even say Hi, nor a smile. I saw how she would give attitude to her employee's. Not a comfortable branch.

This place is awful. From the moment you walk in to the lobby that resembles a prison and smells like a moldy, condemned basement. The only thing worse than the smell and look is the service. These women are unbelievably rude. They have no compassion toward customers that are obviously already experiencing down times to have to go there to begin with. They simply do not care in the slightest.

They have false advertising. No credit check guarantee approval is false. Don’t waste your time. They will reply with sorry you didn’t like our services. Change your advertising to the truth.

I have enjoyed a business relationship with this bank for about 15 years. Ryan whom I met first in Western Bank has given consistent excellent service; Recently I emailed Ryan and requested a special favor. Would he be able to put a specified amount of cash in 10 envelopes and have it ready in 4 hours. I received the affirmative email in minutes. At the appointed time. I walked into the bank, was greeted by name by the teller who said, "I have the envelopes with the money ready for you" I signed the withdrawal slip, received the envelopes, walked out of the bank in less than 3 minutes. NOW that is what I call SERVICE!

Since there is only one review for Fairfield, and it's a one star review from someone who doesn't seem to understand hard money lending, I've decided to finally write a review. I've worked with Fairfield for more than 10 years - mostly I've been a borrower, but I have also invested as a lender with them a couple of times. I have a great relationship with the principal loan officer. People interested in working with a hard money lender need to understand what a hard/private money lender is: it is an institution which pools money from private investors to lend to borrowers who need loans in situations where traditional lending is not possible (such as fix and flip/rehab projects which traditional lenders will not finance) - as such, hard money lenders charge higher rates. The investors collect the higher rate interest payments; the lending institution (Fairfield) makes it's money on points/closing costs and funding fees, just like any lender. Any fees are listed on the company's fee schedule; all other costs/interest, etc., are outlined in the promissory note because all of those costs are collected by the investor who provided the loan for the borrower - they are not collected by Fairfield. As far as hard money lending goes, Fairfield has been one of the better institutions I've worked with. But again, my main point here is that borrowers need to understand all aspects of hard money lending before utilizing hard money. The person who left the one star review clearly did not understand this. I'd also like to point out that Fairfield currently has an "A" rating with the BBB - there was a complaint filed years ago which may have giving it an "F" rating at the time the 1 star review was given, and I read that complaint - it is once again from someone who does not understand hard money lending and who also failed to fully read and understand the promissory note, and Fairfield did counter that review with the pertinent info, and that complaint is listed as resolved.

This is the best bank! The people are friendly and always willing to help. Definitely recommended if you want actual service, rather than being stuck on hold at a "big-box" bank. Thank you for all of the help over the past year!

I've been with Rogue since I first came to Oregon. I always got the best service and everyone has always answered any questions for me. I just had the worst experience. And am thinking I'll have to go elsewhere. I just wanted to deposit my daughter's stimulus check in my account . They wouldn't let me even though I had more than enough to cover it. I'm just mad!!!!
